In late March, Carmen Shanks' petition for Trikafta was presented, and the Petitions Committee referred it to the Health Select Committee. Trikafta for Kiwis and Cystic Fibrosis NZ have had the opportunity to submit written support of the petition and Trikafta to the Health Select Committee.
The opportunity to provide written support has meant that we can ensure further details about cystic fibrosis and the urgent need for Trikafta are communicated clearly to the Committee, and will help aid their review of the petition.
