We are happy to update that the petition for Trikafta has now been referred to the Health Select Committee upon review by the Petitions Committee.

What does this mean?

We now have the opportunity to submit written support to the Health Select Committee, which is made up of members who have a background in health or a specialist interest in health matters.

The opportunity to provide written support means that we can ensure further details about cystic fibrosis and the urgent need for Trikafta are communicated clearly to the Health Select Committee. This will aid in the Committee's review of the petition.

Trikafta for Kiwis will be working with Cystic Fibrosis NZ to compile the written submission, which is due by the 29th April 2022. 

We will also be working with members of the community to ensure an accurate and effective representation of our community and our desperate situation is presented to the Health Select Committee.
