Online Communities

The advent of social networking sites has been a great boon for people with cystic fibrosis, as it means they can maintain their connectivity with each other, and not have to worry about cross-infection issues.

Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand supports social networking by maintaining four Facebook pages, each aimed at a different sector of our community.  We also produce the CF News magazine twice a year, and issue an e-newsletter to keep the CF community informed once a month.

If you have any issues finding or joining these groups, please get in touch with us.

CFNZ Group Closed Facebook Group

This closed group has been developed for the carers and supporters of people with cystic fibrosis in New Zealand. People who are part of the group will be either parents, grandparents, partners or carers of people with CF, siblings, adults with CF or others who have some form of link to the CF community. Because it is a closed group only people within the groups can see or contribute to discussions. It’s a great way of learning from each other and hearing experiences in a safe and private environment.
