Austin from Levin shares his secrets to staying well and staying active.

My name is Austin and I am 10 years old. I live in Levin and am a year 6 at Levin East School.

I love sports especially soccer, ripper rugby, athletics and motocross.

My soccer team finished first equal in our competition this year.

We had our school athletics a couple of months ago I did extremely well in all the running ones and the high jump. I got selected for the inter-schools at the college next door which I also competed in all events and did especially well at running.

I play ripper rugby at school and got selected for my school’s rep team that competed in a tournament and my team did brilliantly and finished sixth and I also scored two tries.

I have a 110cc motorcross bike and competed in six trail rides over the summer and early autumn. This was my first time entering these and I had so much fun! Especially riding through all the mud and going over the jumps.

I also love riding my BMX at home over the jumps I made. I also go down to the BMX track and ride over all the jumps. The track is pretty big but I always try to do a few laps and a few tricks too!

I love anything outdoors I try my hardest at everything and give 110% every time.
