Fortisip Powder to be discontinued in New Zealand.

Nutricia has advised Dietitians of their decision to discontinue Fortisip Powder as it has become financially unsustainable to continue to sell this product in New Zealand.

It will be available for prescription until the end of January, however supply of this product will become reduced from January as the current stock is used.

Fortisip powder is used by a number of people in the CF community. There is an alternative, fully funded nutritional supplement produced by another company, and Fortisip liquid which is a partially funded prescription product, will continue to be available.
