The Wellington branch has been impressed by the level of its involvement in the planned new Children’s Hospital building in Wellington.

Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand and the branch have been involved from the outset of this project – providing feedback about cross infection and clinical rooms, and has been one of just a few patient groups that have been consulted.

The Wellington Branch committee and CFNZ Chief Executive Jane Bollard received a guided tour of the concept clinical rooms in November. The new hospital is expected to open its doors at the end of 2019.
