A joint project to develop the first set of clinical practice guidelines for social workers working with CF families in Australasia began in 2013 and have recently been approved and made public.
The guidelines cover a range of issues from diagnosis, childhood, adolescence and transition to transplant and end-of life-care. Recommendations are based on current evidence and expert consensus.
