Cystic Fibrosis is NZ's most common life-threatening inherited disease and the CF Association is the only national organisation dedicated to all aspects of the condition.

News from the CF Adult Representative

 The appointee for this position is Lisa Borkus, a CF adult who resides in Christchurch with her husband and two children.  She brings to the CF Association insight through experience, motivation to help meet the needs of the CF adult group and skills in Database Development and Teaching. She has a passion for learning, loves KFC, funny movies, getting to know new people and has been known to be a bit of an adventure daredevil.  She has also been actively involved in CF National Conferences providing talks on relevant CF issues

 Role of the Adult Rep

  •  ØTakes part in policy planning with a specific view to how

       CFANZ policy affects the lives of adults with CF

  • Ø

    Brings the concerns or priorities of the adult CF community

       to the Board table, through regular consultation with the

       adult group

  • Ø

    Acts as a conduit between the Board and the adult CF

      community, relaying pertinent information between the

      two
